      Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE)

MCLE reporting for the 2019-2020 compliance year is not available at this time. We are in the process of developing a new reporting application, which will be available later this year. Once the new system is available, we will provide notification and instructions.

Missouri lawyers must fulfill the continuing legal education requirements set by Missouri Supreme Court Rule 15. Generally, this means that lawyers must complete 15 hours of CLE education, including two hours of ethics and professionalism, each compliance year. Up to six hours, other than ethics and professionalism, may be completed through self-study.

The MCLE compliance year runs from July 1 through June 30. Lawyers must file their Annual Report of MCLE Compliance no later than July 31. To access the online Annual Report, click here

For more information about MCLE, review our FAQs . For specific questions about your MCLE reporting or compliance, please call (573) 638-2233 or email mcle@mobar.org.
